The Litchi Orchard is wholly family-owned and run. As a farming family, we aim to use our cherished little corner of the world to celebrate food and a back-to-basics approach to life.

Our vision at The Litchi Orchard is to create a place where people can enjoy and learn about the simple things in life. It’s a meeting point, a place of authenticity and a place to take some time out in a relaxed environment.

Essentially, we are striving to create a melting pot of good food, culture, community and creativity; with an emphasis on the outdoors and food which is fresh, local and sustainably produced!

There’s something here for everyone!

From our delightful country cafe’, to our ever-popular farmer’s market, the fantastic Driefontein garden centre, on-site Beanstruk Coffee Roastery, Lemon Canary bespoke baking and Linc Community Church. We also offer venue hire for weddings and functions, and host some unique and exciting events! There’s ample parking (it can get a bit choco’s on market days though!) kids facilities and loads of open space to amble around and walk the dog/kids. Also keep an eye out for our playful group of resident mongooses - These little critters are a great source of joy for kids in particular and one can keep entertained for hours watching their antics and listening to their impressive vocab of squeaks and chirps.

December is litchi time and there’s no better place to get this summer-time favourite than direct from The Litchi Orchard!

We’re easily accessible, being close to the N2, but it really feels like we are tucked away in the middle of no-where :)
